Tucked away beneath the main body of Baan Rim Pa restaurant is a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of Patong . . . La Comanche cigar and wine bar. The comfortable leather décor is the ideal to relax and meet friends over a glass of wine, read the newspaper, watch events on the large wall-mounted flat screen TV, or as a quiet venue for a cigar and brandy after an excellent meal.

Opened in 1999, La Comanche has proved to be a popular meeting place to watch particular sporting events (it was very popular during the Sydney Olympics) and for private entertainment. With seating for 10 in the air-conditioned interior and 20 on the balcony, La Comanche provides an intimate atmosphere for a small number of people, or a great celebratory atmosphere for up to 30.

Fine wines are available from The Cellar above at the Baan Rim Pa restaurant and La Comanche has a selection of some of the finest cigars available on the island: Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, Cohiba, Bolivar and Romon Allonis all kept in a state-of-the-art humidor. The bar provides a nice perching space to appreciate the atmosphere, fine brandy and company. Air conditioned and well ventilated, the indoor bar has a fresh and welcoming feel.

Whether it's a quiet evening, a meeting, party with friends or a quiet cigar after a wonderful meal at one of the three restaurants on offer, La Comanche has something for everyone.

La Comanche is also available for private functions.
